Welcome to Wide Open Sound!

Wide Open Sound is a professional multi-track recording studio owned by veteran audio engineer, Kieran Wagner, in Richmond, Virginia.

Centered around our 48-channel, Graham Langley-designed, Amek m2500 recording console, WOS features a 24' x 30' tracking room with two isolation booths and grand piano, a comfortable control room outfitted with B&W Nautilus monitoring, vintage outboard gear, and isolated machine and support rooms, an independent editing suite with network access to the studio's digital file server, and various client amenities. Recording capabilities include 24 + tracks via either the Otari MTR-90II 2" analog tape machine, or our IZ RADAR 24 Digital Hard Disk Recorder, available with Pro-Tools editing and synchronization as well.
